Golden Time Wednesday 5:30pm session
✨ Golden Time Wednesday 5:30pm Session: Mindfulness That Feels Like Play ✨
Forget forced meditation—this is mindfulness for people who think "sitting still is hard."
Join us for an hour of unexpectedly fun, engaging, and refreshingly human online activities designed to:
- Quiet the noise ✨ without boring you to tears
- Connect with others 🌱 without awkward small talk
- Reset your nervous system 🧠 without needing to "clear your mind"
Here’s some of What We’ll Do Together:
🌟 – "Word Doodle Warm-Up"
- Grab paper/tablet—we’ll scribble one word that describes our energy right now (think: "Wobbly" or "Sparkly" or "Ugh o’clock").
- No art skills needed! This is about letting your hand move, not making pretty things
🌿 – "5-Senses Scavenger Hunt"
- We’ll mute mics and race (gently) to find:
- Something blue within arm’s reach
- A smell you like (coffee? a plant? your dog’s paws? we don’t judge)
- A texture that feels nice (your sweater, a pen, your own hair!)
- Then we’ll share our weirdest finds (because mindfulness should be *fun*).
🎶 "Silent Disco Breathing"
- Everyone picks their own song (from a playlist or your own library).
- We’ll breathe in sync with the beat—no "right way," just your rhythm
- Bonus: Try mouthing the lyrics like a dramatic music video.
✨ – "Gratitude Mad Libs"
- Together, we’ll fill in silly blanks like:
Today, I’m weirdly grateful for ______ [random object], because it reminded me that ______ [absurd observation]."*
(Example: "I’m grateful for my chipped coffee mug, because it reminded me that imperfection has character—just like my sleep schedule."*)
🌙 – "Future Self High Five"
- Write/text yourself one tiny kindness for tomorrow (e.g., Hey Future Me, drink water before caffeine—you’ll feel less like a goblin.
- We’ll hit send together while making exaggerated fist bumps at our cameras.
Why This Works for Real Humans:
✅ No "shoulds" All activities are opt-in (you can just watch!).
✅ Play > Perfection– Laughter welcome; seriousness optional.
✅ Connection without pressure– Chat or stay silent; both are valued.
Perfect for:over thinkers, fidgeters, people who "hate mindfulness," and anyone who needs a gentle reset mid-week
1. Bring your weirdest desk trinket (or pet).
2. Leave behind any need to "do it right."
"The best mindfulness session I’ve ever attended—and I spent half of it untangling my headphones." – Previous Participant
